These terms are the deal between you and Beyond Their Years when you use this website and the game. By signing up you agree to them. We've tried to keep them short and plain.

Who can sign up

You must be an adult (18 or older) and the parent or legal guardian of the kids who will play, or have their permission. Kids play under your account. You're responsible for your login and for keeping your password private.

Plans and payment

• Each kid has their own monthly plan. Prices are shown on the Pricing page in U.S. dollars.
• You pay through PayPal, with a PayPal account or a card. PayPal shows you the amount and the date of your first charge before you agree.
• Your subscription renews every month until you cancel.
• If we ever change a price, we'll tell you by email before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Free week

New subscriptions start with a free week. If you cancel before the week ends, you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your plan's monthly price starts when PayPal said it would.

Canceling and refunds

Cancel any time in Parent settings (the Cancel button is at the very bottom) or in your PayPal account. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't charge cancellation fees. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we'll make it right.

Using the game

• The game is for your family's personal use. Please don't share logins outside your family, resell access, or copy the game's content.
• Please don't try to break, scrape or get around how the site works.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.

Coins and prizes

Coins are earned in the game and have no cash value. They can't be sold or transferred. When prize cash-ins are available, a parent approves every one.

Socrates, our AI tutor

Socrates is an AI. He's built to coach with questions rather than give answers, but like any AI he can get things wrong. He doesn't replace a teacher or a parent's judgment.

Our content

The game, characters, questions, art and videos belong to Beyond Their Years. You can use them inside the game while your subscription is active.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the game running and accurate, but we provide it "as is." We can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, or promise a particular result for your kid. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.

Privacy

How we handle your family's information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and email account holders first. If you keep using the game after that, the new terms apply.
